Account Executive (New!)

Responsibilities:

  • Sell total voice and data systems solutions to mid-size enterprise customers
  • Develop and implement customer sales plan and sales forecasts
  • Identify and evaluate new accounts and develop new sales
  • Develop ongoing revenue stream from existing installed base customers
  • Coordinate the bid process, proposal generation, and customer pricing
  • Build customer relationships, do demonstrations, and make presentations

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years sales experience as a strong hunter, able to close large and complex accounts (VOIP or Telecommunications preferred)
  • Experience as a sales person closing new business
  • Strong positive attitude, highly motivated, competitive, and a self-starter
  • Ability to identify prospect needs and quickly recognize opportunity
  • Aggressive closing skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn ConnectWise CRM+ software
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to identify the decision maker and negotiate sales

Education:

College degree highly preferred

Technical Support Engineer

Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated individual passionate about playing a critical role in our Technical Assistance Center. In the role of Technical Support Engineer, you will be a member of a highly skilled team. You will be provided with a standard setting web-based customer response and support environment designed to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

•Focus on rapid identification and resolution of customer issues

•Provide first level support to Total-Tec customers

•Answer questions and perform initial triage on problem reports

•Document each customer interaction using our ConnectWise ticket management system

•Provide timely and effective resolution to support requests based on internal and external service level agreements (SLA)

•Provide ongoing, regular updates to customers to keep them apprised of progress toward problem resolution

•Participate in the creation of proactive measures to anticipate and/or remove the need for traditional service and support

•Technical assistance for hardware, software and/or applications

•Partnering to create and update technical documentation

•Providing onsite installation and other professional services as needed

•Meet various SLA requirements based on measurable metrics

•Participate in off hours and on call support including rotational swing

 

Requirements:

•Experience with MS Server 2003 or 2008

•Must be a team player with excellent collaborative skills

•Demonstrates strong problem solving skills

•Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

•A working knowledge of VoIP, related protocols, and standards preferred

•3 or more years’ experience/knowledge of Data Networking

•Knowledge, understanding, and practical application of technologies, protocols, and related standards including layer 3 switching (OSI model), TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, and IP routers

•3 or more years’ experience and knowledge of Telephony protocols and interfaces, T1, E1, PRI, QSIG, and analog trunking

•A complete understanding of the technologies and protocols that are required to deploy and manage a distributed architecture e.g., numerous devices connected across an IP network

•Experience/knowledge of the Contact Center environment, including call flow, CTI integration, Reporting and Work Force Management

•A complete understanding of current telephony applications and the vendors that supply the applications including Collaboration and Conferencing, ACD, IVR, and CTI, IM

•Knowledge, understanding, and practical application of basic computer systems including disk management, file systems, memory management and related concepts

•Fast learner able to come up to speed rapidly on new technologies

•Your background should include experience in the high tech environment, preferably in the telecommunications industry. Experience working at companies such as Cisco, Nortel, Lucent, and Aspect or others providing services in the VOIP, PBX and data communications fields is a plus. Your experience should also include a successful track record of working on multiple cases within the same time period

Education:

•Bachelor’s degree or related experience

•Microsoft MCSE and/or CISCO certifications are a plus

Marketing Sales Associate

As a Marketing Sales Associate, you must be willing to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. This position will have a primary responsibility of utilizing social media (LinkedIn, email, etc), Event registrations including Seminars, Expos, making warm and cold calls to prospective customers with the goal of acquiring new business.

To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate:
– Experience as Marketing Sales Associate making daily contact to prospects/customers

Inside Sales Associate

Total Technologies is hiring bright, highly motivated and energetic Inside Sales Representatives to join our team!  As an Inside Sales Representative, you must be willing to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.  This position will have a primary responsibility for making warm and cold calls to our installed base customers along with prospects  with the goal of acquiring new business .  The ideal candidate would preferably have 2 years inside sales experience.

To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate:

– Experience as an inside sales person making outbound calls

– Strong positive attitude, highly motivated, competitive, and a self starter

– Ability to identify prospect needs and quickly recognize opportunity.

– Aggressive closing skills

– Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn ConnectWise CRM+ software

– Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills.

– Keen attention to detail

– Ability to identify the decision maker and negotiate sales

Job duties include but not limited to:
